Speaking of the Guardian, someone forwarded me an older piece from that paper yesterday. I mention it here because it raises a vexing question: Is there really an officer in the Chinese People's Liberation Army named "General Fu Quanyou"?

I don't know if there is a general in the PLA named "Fu Quanyou"--but if there is please note that it would be pronounced approximately like "Foo chwahn yoh"... in other words, nothing humorous about it...
