William Safire draws a pretty tight bead on the Homeland Security Act in his new NY Times column today. Particularly enjoyable is his knock on Adm. Poindexter, late of Iran-Contra: "'We're just as concerned as the next person with protecting privacy,'" this brilliant mind blandly assured The Post. A jury found he spoke falsely before."
