viewpoints on issues. This can be unsettling to liberals fully

The only difference between the cartoon and real life is that
the CNN reporter wasn't attacking FoxNews, the lady was attacking
individuals at the Tea Party, ridiculing their beliefs and opinions
as being held by some sort of "backwoods bumpkin".
Completely unprofessional for a reporter, it is a sad state of
affairs when the supposedly objective news reporter turns into a
political hatchet man for the powers that be.
Sad times.

I had a similar thought. Chip (if that is his real name)
perhaps could have drawn a disgruntled Chicogoan and his 2-year-old
in place of that FoxNews cameraman.

The local paper followed the dominant narrative paradigm and claimed the Tea Party protests were all a Republican plot and called every non-millionaire who went a dupe. They pitched the whole movement as being a protest about the sunsetting of the Bush tax cuts and absolutely nothing more. Or, at least, that's what they did when they weren't throwing out non sequiters about the Iraq War protests like Mardi Gras beads to topless chicks.

CNN is pretty middle of the road. Their news reporting is pretty bland and objective for the most part, and their one real blowhard commentator, Lou Dobbs, is hardly a pinko. And even though Republican affiliation in this country is 20% and declining I bet they're not gonna stop giving 50% of the political commentary airtime to Republicans.

This was one of Bok's better works, but I will suggest
improvements anyway:
Show a little penguin in the bush saying like, "I agree with CNN,
those tea party folk are crazy" and then show a pig who is wiping
his nose saying "yeah, their beliefs won't reign until I fly!" and
it would be better if you could add sound and actually make the
pig's voice sound sick, and show the lady from Britain's Got Talent
like, "you may fly someday little pig, I did!" and then a little
man next to the other reporters and he is labelled MSNBC and he is
like "Hey guys, can I play?" and maybe some Muslim pirates in a
little boat in the distance like "we may hate pigs, but thank you
for taking the heat off us!" and like a silly little gag could be
like GW wuz here carved into the desk in the first panel.

networks. Murdoch will openly admit he and his holdings lean
towards the conservative.

You really need to spend some time looking at Neilson ratings. CNN
is getting slaughtered. You are making a common mistake, especially
among liberals, conservative minded and republican are not the same
thing. I'd rather watch something mildly conservative, and admits
to the being so, that I disagree with than MSNBC or CNN swallow Big
O juice and claim impartial reporting. CNN isn't bland. It's dead.
MSNBC is dying. Vitriolic left leaning news is supported in the US
market. Otherwise Air America would be rockin' the airwaves and NPR
would not have "public" in their name.

@hmm: Mildly conservative? Are you serious? Do you actually *watch* Fox? Those guys are rabid, and not in the principled, liberty-minded good kind of conservative way. I mean, Olberman and Madow are occasionally (okay often) grossly stupid but the fact that they usually appear calm and sane and can give principled, if flawed, arguments for their liberal ideology beats the hell out of the foaming-at-the-mouth screeching sensationalism and fearmongering found daily on Murdoch's noise networks. Another thing: when MSNBC folks read party line press releases word for word, they typically let you know they're doing it first.
