Top Navy Sniper Killed at Texas Gun Range (UPDATED)

Texas authorities say a man has been charged with murder in the deaths of former Navy SEAL and author Chris Kyle and another man at a Texas gun range.

Sgt. Lonny Haschel with Texas Department of Public Safety said in a statement Sunday that Eddie Ray Routh, 25, of Lancaster was arraigned Saturday on two counts of capital murder.

Haschel said Erath County deputies responded to a shooting at the Rough Creek Lodge at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday and found the bodies of Chris Kyle, 38, and Chad Littlefield, 35.

No sniper was more feared by Islamic militants than Chris Kyle he left behind over 250 of their bodies. Flags will be flying at half-mast in Iraq for the navy seal that helped restore freedom in a war torn nation. His God given bravery has inspired thousands of youngsters to follow in his footsteps and gain fame and fortune as a made in America killing machine.
