Pirate Party Politico Slammed for Pursuing Copyright Violators
Senior Pirate Party politician Julia Schramm made headlines this week when her publisher took action against pirated copies of her book "Click Me." Now Schramm is at the center of a shitstorm over her wavering positions on intellectual property. Both the tabloid press and members of her own party accuse her of hypocrisy.
The extent of the fuss about the book by Julia Schramm, a prominent young member of Germany's Pirate Party, can be seen on page two of Wednesday's edition of Bild, Germany's biggest tabloid and arguably its most influential newspaper. Bild dubs Schramm "the greedy pirate" and asks if she is a "vile traitor."
