While only 30% of roaming house cats kill prey — two animals a week on average — they are still slaying more wildlife than previously believed, according to research from the University of Georgia.

And people don't? Think of all the bugs you've killed in your lifetime. (Mute the cheering, please!) Not just with a flyswatter or a can of Raid, but crushed underfoot, or smeared in a windshield-wiper arc across your windshield. Did you purposely eat even one of them in your adult life?
